As much as I love my FTH, characters, I definitely would love to write fics for all the ships/relationships I've ever been in. Stole this from Jamie, who posted it in our crack comm for find_horcruxes. Length will vary, lemme know if you want ship or friendship or whatever, and I just ask that one of the characters belong to me.

Jessie/Teddy - without warning

“So, I think he’s really into me. Don’t give me that look, Jess. I know you don’t like him, but I’m telling you, he’s changed!”

Jessie didn’t cease her look of disgust as she stared at Jenny. Her cousin, her ever so naïve cousin, talking about a recent ex who was just trying to squeeze his way back into her life by spinning yet another web of deceit. Oh, how Jessie wanted to smack her cousin over her head for falling for it!

“I’m serious.” Jenny wasn’t going to continue her explanation when Jessie was still staring at her that way. So Jessie turned away, looking across the street to the new family that had just moved into the neighborhood a few months ago. The second Jenny launched into her vividly detailed description of how the sleazebag pleased her, she tuned out, deciding to watch Teddy and his sister sitting on their porch. They mirrored one another, his sister obviously talking his ear off as well. Jessie wondered if she was talking about a boyfriend too.

It wouldn’t be surprising. It seemed like Teddy was a good listener as anyone with a good head on their shoulders was. Far better than The Sleazebag. He didn’t seem self-centered and worried more about getting ass. Not surprising. The guy had a disciplining family and seemed to be raised properly by a mother who must have taught him how to treat a girl with respect. Why couldn’t Jenny find a guy like that, for once?

When Teddy looked up, catching eye contact with Jessie, he smiled and waved. She waved back, feeling that bit of pessimism wash away.

It hit her right then that somewhere along the lines of talking and hanging out, she had fallen for him.
