I've got a research project for one of my Anthropology courses to do. Since our professor emphasized that we can pick any topic at all, and particularly in topics that we are most interested in, I picked Harry Potter. Awesome, right?

So, I need participants for an interview. It won't be too many question and you don't have to answer in complete sentences or anything. And I'll just email you the list so you can just reply back with your answers.

It's 102 degrees F currently. Not sure if this is recording-breaking highs or whatever, but it's fucking hot and I stepped out for a bit to throw away the trash and noticed there's no wind, at all. shgdfgkjdghj

That's just the background story for today. Talking to my cousin in Arizona, she told me "Uh big deal, get over it, it's like that all the time here!"

IDK if it's just me, maybe its the remnants of monthly hormones that still don't want to stop reacting in my system, but that pissed me off. Everyone reacts to weather differently. Some people, like myself, can not handle this and they need to stay in front of the AC at all costs, some people can. My brother-in-law came from India during the summer and he was wearing a hoodie because he thought it was slightly chilly. Kudos to him, he can handle it. It all depends on what you're used to.

So for her to tell me to get over it? Yeah, not fucking on. It's like someone saying "Oh, you got a sprained ankle? Big deal, I BROKE MY LEG, get over it!" Everyone's level of tolerance is different. No, dear cousin, YOU get over it.

Choose one or more characters of mine, and I will use the Polyvore App to create an outfit they would wear on any given day. (Or, conversely, specify a special event/day and I will make an outfit based around that! For example, a wedding or a funeral.)

So I just watched Dan Rad and JKR on the stage just now but then I had to close the window because my laptop got hot. >> But anyway, basically, JKR basically goes "thank you!" to all her fans and I sat here going "NO, thank YOU!!"

Then I got emotional because not only is HP like the latter half of my childhood and my entire adolescent years... it's also because of Harry Potter that I made some incredibly awesome friends via RP, that I highly doubt I would have met otherwise, because Harry Potter was what got me into RP. Especially friends who have been there for me for years and years now, making me laugh or feel better whether I needed cheering up or we were just acting plain silly.

So, I remember some people did this like.. ages ago (or rather.. sometime in April/May) and I never get into it. :O I know! The meme sheep I am! But I am stealing this now from random RPers that did this back then, mostly because I totally miss playing a lot of people that I used to play. Hence!
